Astrixel (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use Sprout, our budget and expense tracking application.
By using Sprout, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
The Short Version
Sprout does not collect anything. There are no servers behind the app and no advertising. Everything you enter stays on your phone.
Information We Collect
Sprout has no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, and no tracking of any kind. We do not know who you are, whether you use the app, or what you put into it.
What Is Stored, and Where
The information you enter into Sprout, including what you spent, your categories, budgets, goals, what you owe, your name, and your chosen currency, is stored only in the app’s own storage on your device. None of this information is transmitted to us or to any third party.
If you uninstall Sprout, this data is removed along with it.
Backups and Syncing
If you choose to turn on syncing, Sprout writes a copy of your data to your own iCloud or Google Drive account. That copy goes to cloud storage that belongs to you, under your own account. We have no access to it and no ability to read it.
Syncing is optional and stays off unless you turn it on. Your use of iCloud or Google Drive is governed by Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies.
You can also export your data to a file yourself and share that file wherever you choose. Where it goes after that is up to you.
Device Permissions
Sprout may ask for:
- Biometrics (fingerprint or face), only to unlock the app, and only if you choose to turn that feature on. This is handled entirely by your device’s operating system. Sprout never receives your fingerprint or face data.
- Files, only when you choose to export or import a backup file.
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your information to anyone, because we do not have it.
Third-Party Services
Sprout does not embed advertising networks, analytics tools, or social media trackers.
The app may open external links, for example to its own store listing if you choose to leave a review. Those pages are operated by Google or Apple and covered by their own privacy policies.
Children’s Privacy
Sprout is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Your Rights
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, or delete on your behalf. You remain in full control at all times. Your information stays on your device, and clearing the app’s data or uninstalling it removes everything.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by updating the “Last Updated” date on this page.
