These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Sprout mobile application. By accessing or using Sprout, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the app.
Use of the App
You may use Sprout only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to interfere with its operation, or reverse engineer any part of it beyond what applicable law permits.
Your Data
Sprout stores everything you enter, including spending, budgets, goals, and account balances, directly on your device. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for how you use the figures Sprout shows you.
If you choose to enable syncing through your own iCloud or Google Drive account, you are responsible for the security of that account. We have no access to your synced data and cannot recover it on your behalf if it is lost.
No Financial Advice
Sprout is a personal budgeting and expense tracking tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Nothing in the app should be treated as a recommendation to take or avoid any financial action. You should consult a qualified professional before making significant financial decisions.
Accuracy of Information
Sprout calculates totals, budgets, and progress based only on the information you enter. We do not verify this information against your bank, employer, or any other source. You are responsible for checking that your entries are correct.
Privacy
Your use of Sprout is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle information within the app.
Intellectual Property
Sprout, including its design, branding, and underlying software, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly allowed in these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the app without prior written permission.
Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Sprout at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable if features become unavailable or if the app changes over time.
Disclaimers
Sprout is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every use case.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sprout and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or financial loss, arising from your use of the app.
Termination
You may stop using Sprout at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to discontinue the app entirely, though any data already on your device remains under your control until you delete it.
Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable in Nepal, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of Sprout after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
